How to Export Data
Download your photos, videos, stories, and messages directly from Meta.
Step-by-Step

Go to Accounts Center
Log in to Instagram and navigate to the "Accounts Center" in Settings.

Find Information and Permissions
Click on "Your information and permissions" on the left sidebar.

Request a Download
Select "Download your information" and then click "Request a download".

Select Types
Choose "Complete copy" for everything, or "Select types of information" for just photos/videos.

Choose Format
We recommend selecting "JSON" format and "High" media quality for the best results with our tool.

Wait for Email
Meta will email you when your file is ready. This can take a few hours to a few days.
Open Instagram Settings

What happens next?
Instagram will email you a download link. Save the ZIP file to your iPhone's Files app.
